Swimming and hiking while camping

At Sportsman Park, near Aberdeen, on the reservoir we had a great time swimming and enjoying the trails.
There were boat docks that the kids could dive off of and a sandy beach for the little ones. The water had gone down quite a lot so if we went there again i would try to come earlier in the year, but it was still a nice beach!

Jared was being a spaz as I asked him to smile for the camera...he kept saying "Yeah! More pictures...I just love pictures!" Through gritted teeth.
Lexie tried to do a dive all on her own and got water in her nose. She was very sad!
Eli and I just hanging out on the beach.
Jordyn loves playing in the wet sand.
A family pose in the water.
Jared was horsing around with my camera.
The camp site was very green but once you leave the camping area, it is farm land and sage brush. Our hike was a path the followed the reservoir and so it became very open and sage brushy. I've decided that the smell of sage brush is too strong and almost suffocates you. I don't like it. But the hike was fun and the views were beautiful!!
Daddy and grandpa walking with Jordyn.
Grandma Betty hiking with the girls.
Lexie and I enjoying this view from our hike.
The end of the trail brings you to this pavillion where you can see across the reseravour.
The last hike we went on, Jared had to help Kenzie want to go by carrying her out of the campsite and down the lane a bit.
She wasn't enthused by it!
She was still pouting after an hour...
