We got together with Jared's side of the family and enjoyed "harmonized" singing of different Christmas carols, delicious soups, frosting and decorating sugar cookies, gag gifts and nice gifts, Grandpa's devotional, and just being around family that we love.
We all were matching so I decided that we needed to have some family pictures taken.
Every year we try to create a homemade Christmas ornament for the tree. This year we made little felt snowmen.
We decided to try out for the play again this year. Jared landed the part of Bob Cratchit and kenzie's was one of the Cratchit children. Lex got the party of little Fanny. I subbed as Mrs Cratchit one weekend and also subbed in on the spur of the moment as a missionary one night. It was fun to participate in this play all together but it's also very exhausting to be in this play with all the time required during this Christmas season. Kenzie's loved being in a play for the first time and lexie totally rocked her roll! Jared enjoyed playing opposite me during the nights I was in the play with him and we even shared a few kisses on stage. (Best on stage kiss I've ever had! !)
Eli's second grade had there Christmas concert and it was amazing. His music teacher, Mrs Davidson, is so talented and fun. She creates the funnest programs. It was so cute watching eli sing"let it snow" while throwing snow paper up in the air.
