I had the chance to go to my niece, Lizzie, graduate from high school. She is my sister, kim's, daughter.
Some of my family could make it including Jamie and Mel, Sharon and Penny, and Ian. We were the graduation fan club. Grandpa and grandma Weber were able to face time with Kim and watch ether oldest grandchild graduate. It was really special!! Congrats Liz we are so proud of you!!
I love living in a neighborhood!! I love that my kids have other kids to play with right next door. Eli has a possy that are such good kids. Kenzie and Lexie have great friends that they play with and for the past two weeks they practiced a "circus" that they performed for us. They loved getting all dressed up for us and doing flips on the trampoline.
I'm so grateful that we live here!!
Please excuse Eli...he is crying again. I got up in the morning and he was wearing sweat pants and a sweat shirt. I told him to go change cause it was going to be a nice warm day and he started crying...a ton!! He must have been tied but still there was no reason to be crying. Once Jared came out inabbed a last day of school picture but eli was still crying. After we had scriptures and prayers and got school stuff put on, i grabbed another picture that turned out way better.

Eli and his class had a field trip to the zoo and i got to go and help. I enjoy going and seeing my kids all excited as we "run" around the park. Eli was pared up with Spencer and Emmit and so with Jordyn and me we had a nice little group.
It started to rain on us and so we luckily saw some animals be a little more lively than normal. Especially the sloth bears, they climbed out of their den when it started to rain and then commenced running and growling at each other while playing a game of hide and seek or king of the mountain. I'm not sure but one bear was pretty grumpy...maybe he got woken up. We all know what happens when you wake the bear!!
I'm glad i got to help, it has been a fun year volunteering in Eli's class with Mrs. Prescott.
Eli turned seven years old and is becoming to be such a big boy! He is so sweet and smart! He loves to read and make to do lists. He'll make a list on what games he is going to play and once he has completed that item, he crosses it off and moves to the next. He always has little action figures near by that he is using. And he gets very possessive of his pile of toys being touched by his younger sister, Jordyn.
His birthday wasn't a very conventional one. Jared had a scout campout and so Eli went with him. Eli loves hanging out with the older boys. He loved being able to run ahead on the GPShunts that the scouts did and sit near the fire. Afterwards, they went to Kenzie's volleyball game and then went to Walmart to pick out his presents. He choose bayblades. It kind of like a tops game. Then they went to grandma betty's house and had tacos, his favorite! ( I was gone all day judging a Jr Miss program in Soda Springs, ID. That was fun too.)
The next day was mothers day and so we shared the day together but i had Eli blow out the birthday cake candles and sing to him. We had my special ham dinner and enjoyed having my sister, Sharon, and her family over.
We had the opportunity to have Aunt Heidi visit from New Zealand again. She comes every year which we excitedly anticipate! She stays at each of the Heath homes for a few days and we love it. The kids really miss her and take every opportunity they can to be with her.
This year she flew into Boise, ID where all of us Heath's met up go to the broadway musical, Wicked. Jerry and Betty got us tickets as our birthday/Christmas/mothers day gifts. It was amazing! Best play ever!! I would go again and again!! It had a great message about miss judging people and giving chances. Plus the music and costumes were amazing!!
Jared was in the play HMS Pinafore. It is very similar to the play Pirates of Penzance. It was the original that pirates was based off of. It's about a captain and his sailors and his daughter Josephine, played by my awesome friend Andrea Hess, whom i talked into going out for the play. Jared played the old creepy suitor to Josephine. It has it's twists in the end and was a very fun play for Jared to be in.
I talked him into just going to the first rehearsal to see what he thought of the play. He was hesitant to go because he wad worried about the stress level it would add. He went to see what the play was like and the director immediately gave him a lead role. He kind of grudgingly accepted it and ended up love the while experience! It was his stress reliever. He said it was nice to go and socialize with the cast but he wasn't in charge so he could just relax. He would do his part and just hang out and so it was really fun for him. Plus the cast was all so great to be around that it was easy to just laugh and let go. I'm hoping that he'll do more plays now that he has caught the bug!!
I got a call from Lexie's school saying that at the awards assembly that Alexis would be receiving an award and that is was a surprise if we wanted to come and see her get it.
I was sure that it was going to be an award for her reading. She has been obsessed with getting points. So when they called out the recipients names and her name want read, i was surprised. I wondered what she would be getting. Then they called her name for excellence in math...math!! She has worked really hard all year long on her math facts but i didn't think she would have gotten an award for math. She really seemed to struggle in it.
Jared and i are really proud of her!! She was so exited when she got called! She won a really nice medal with it. She also received a certificate for the presidential fitness. She said that she worked really hard to come in first for the girls in the mile run in her class. Lex is definitely my scholarly child!
I wish i could say that i am a " Super Mom" but i can't. I know that i am far from it, but the important thing is that i am really trying to be better and better each day.
At Jared's school they had
Hero Day. i subbed so i dressed up with this super man shirt thing. it was fun to walk around the school with my sixth graders wearing this and posing in my super hero stance.
I got this comment from my sister, shavonne, that the shirt seems a little tight if you can see my amazing abs through it. that comment made me laugh!
