This is the third year that we have been able to go to the Second Chance Prom. I absolutely love getting to dress up all perdy, yes I spelt that just how I wanted to spell it. I get my formal dress on and Jared puts on his tux and we dance the night away with great friends.
This year I was able to score tickets to their "Formal" room. In there, they have super nice lounging chairs and really yummy catered food. I called on the radio to play battle of sexes and they asked me a question about some sort of musician which I didn't know. I ended up loosing the game and then I told them that I should still win something and how I should get VIP tickets to the Second Chance Prom. They thought I sounded so cute and wanted them so badly that they gave me tickets even though I lost the game. It was really nice of KLCE radio people to let me have them. Now that we've experience the good like in the VIP room I don't know that we will ever be able to go back!!
I changed out of my formal after dinner and pictures so that I could dance more easily. So we took another picture in my purple dress too. I really like this picture! Even with these high heel boots I am short but I had to wear them so that the other dress wouldn't drag. I ditched the boots for dancing so that I could move freely.
Here is our official picture of us all dolled up. I love this picture of us too. I felt very pretty in this dress. My friend Danielle Metheson has a daughter who is a Senior this year and so she has accumulated a lot of formals. It made me feel really good that I could actually fit into her daughter's dresses. This was my favorite.
But it's not a party if you don't have friends to share it with. Doug and Sarah Turner joined us for the third year in a row too. You gotta love her red pumps and his red sneaks.

Byron and Jemayla joined us too. They were given VIP tickets from James and Emily Evans who normally join us but their little boy got really sick that day and ended up taking him to the hospital. They gave their tickets to Byron and Jemayla and then while we were at the dance we talked Lyzza, the radio lady, into giving Doug and Sarah VIP tickets too so that they weren't left out. We had a grand time!!
He just can't keep his eyes open! But I sure to love this guy!!
