Jared's brother, Chad, invited him to be apart of his rec league team for basketball in Idaho Falls. Jared was so excited. They play on Tuesday nights and so he typically has mutual and misses most of the games but one night, the game didn't start until 9:30 p.m. Plenty of time to make the game.
Jared excitedly left for his game....when he came home....he wasn't so excited anymore.
Can you tell which thumb is the hurt thumb?
How About now?
Jared is getting frustrated with how long it is taking to heal. The doctor told him it probably would have been better for him to have broken it but he just jammed/spranged it really bad!
I find him getting frustrated over the littlest things, like not being able to open a zip lock baggie, or play a game on his new phone, or suddenly Jordyn jumps on him and hits his hand. To top it off, he also just started coaching the 8th grade girls basketball team and so he has to show them stuff. Luckily, because it is his left hand and not his right hand, he is able to show the girls that shooting the proper way requires no left hand, no flip of the left thumb, nothing.

I feel for him. It is difficult to be limited in any way when you are not used to it. I hope it gets better soon!
