On our way home from my family reunion, we took the opportunity to visit Temple Square in Salt Lake City. We always drive by it on the freeway and point it out to our kids. We show the building that looks like a castle amongst all the tall buildings and how that building is the Salt Lake Temple, it is the House of the Lord! We always try to talk to the kids about how the Temple is a very special place where families can be sealed together forever, meaning that even when we die, we will still be an eternal family. We will still get to see and live together and still be husband and wife, brother and sister in Heaven. Whenever we pass by the Temple, any Temple, I say, "Raise your hand if you are going to be married in the Temple." My kids raise their hands and that warms my heart!

I love being with my sweet husband!
There was a really pretty fountain that the kids wanted to see.. It was very refreshing on the sunny warm day to get the mist falling on us. (Lexie was mad because we just got after her for throwing rocks into the pool.)
I love this picture because it shows exactly what the Savior does, watch over us and had His protective hands around us!
My Eternal Family being watched over by our Savior!
We met a nice gent who was from England. I could hardly understand his accent at first when he initially spoke to me. I felt dumb because I kept saying, "Huh?" or "Pardon?"
He was funny and finally said to me, "I am speaking English." Jared, Andrew (The English Guy) and me chatted for a little bit. He met a girl from Ogden on facebook and had flown all the way over here to meet her and they totally didn't hit it off. So, he spent the rest of his vacation seeing the sights. He wasn't a member but perhaps he'll be one one day. The day we met him was his last day in the states and he said that he wished he had come to Temple Square before that day so that he could have seen more. He thought it was very beautiful.

Yeah, strong accents can throw ya. I am used to hearing an Asian accent, so anything else I hear takes me a moment to register. It usually comes with some 'huh' just like you did.
You guys and your family might have influenced him a bit!! I like the pictures!
