I was in a play for the past couple of months where I played a girl named Gina Jo Dubberly. I spoke in a Southern accent and I was an artificial cow inseminator who got layed off because my boss was worried that I was on the path to getting carpal tunnel that took out one of his other employees and he didn't want to pay me the workman's comp.
During this play, my family and friends are trying to save their little town from going under by trying to convince a guy, Buck Strickland aka Senora Caliente, who owns a salsa factory into moving it to Fayro, Texas. The man who was going to play Buck Strickland found out that he had to leave on a business trip half way through the play so Jared stepped in and covered for him the last 3 nights of the play.
My fellow actors waiting behind the set before the play begins.

This young gent is a kid in my ward. He is a sweetheart. He played my husband in this play which was kinda awkward. I know acting is acting but when it comes to a minor, I am not going to chance it by kissing them and then being marched off to prison, so we would just hug whenever the script called for us to "embrace". He was shy and silly and Jared and I had fun getting to know him better.

(We look more age appropriate for each other too. In the last play that I was in, my husband was 20 years older and looked it, while I can look 10 years younger...so, it made for an interesting play. I didn't worry about hugging or kissing that guy, but I would not kiss Josh. I don't need to be that kids first kiss, even in a play!)
Sometimes we would go to Rupes, which I would say is like The Grizzlie, for those who read this from my home town in Washington. It has great burgers, great fries, and really really great shakes. It is nice to relax after practice and get to know the other members of the play better.

I love to do plays and when they are done, I love that too!

You should take it as a huge compliment that they make your husband a teenager. It just means you look amazingly fabulous!
I'm glad you had fun with it. You probably made that kid's day, everytime you embraced!
Thanks for the pictures. The play sounded like a lot of fun. We will enjoy seeing the video when we get back. I love the name of the town..Fayro. How hick can you get?
