Do you remember watching the cartoon The Jetsons? Do you remember the square box thing that floated around and inside was a head that answered George Jetson's questions and did his bidding? That was such a futuristic thing and yet, we are living in that kind of future right now.
We skyped with Jared's parents during Father's Day and he set it up so that we could see his parents on the projector. It was fun to see grandma and grandpa on "the big screen" as my kids call it.
Each of the kids took turns standing in front of the computer, seen on the ledge just below the big screen, while the rest of us enjoyed watching from the couch. Normally, we all sit on the couch with the computer on our laps trying to get a glance at grandma and grandpa, but this time, we could see them with plenty of extra space.
We enjoy our skyping times and are looking forward to the return of the grandparents from their mission to Uruguay. Eventually...in February.
