This past Monday, we had dinner, FHE, and finally it was time for the kids to go to bed. Jared put the girls in bed, and I got Eli ready for bed. I walked downstairs and layed him in bed. Then suddenly I hear, "Courtney, are you putting Eli in bed?" I yell up to him, "Yah." "No!, Bring him up here, he's gonna watch the game with Daddy." I rolled my eyes and continued to tuck Eli in. Then I heard him say, "You have to the count of 5 to bring him to me, 1,2,3..." (I don't know what he is thinking, like counting really is going to work on me. I smile and still ignore him.) All of a sudden, I hear clomp, clomp, clomp. Oh no, here he comes....(sarcastic voice) I hurry and grab one of the girl's dolls. Jared reaches the bottom of the stairs when I very timely say..."Here you go Eli, here's your little baby doll to snuggel up to." I'm laughing as Jared playfully shoves me aside and grabs Eli and says, "You're watching football with daddy, you don't have to go to bed."
I figured I would help the male testosterone bonding moment by bringing in a little football for Eli to hold.
Eli lasted two minutes before he started squirming and Jared let him go. I brought him back downstairs, tucked him in, and he fell fast asleep. Well, I watched to game with him, I was anxious to see if Jared's three players could come up with 60 points in our fantasy football league and beat me. I am happy to report that they couldn't and I won our matchup.

Dustin did something similar with Libby. He needs a son. Jared is a proud daddy.
I don't know about the ear piercing thing...I'll go with you...and see if Lainey wants to do it. Once the girls see Kenzie cry, they'll probably back away.

That is so cute. Dallon keeps the girls up and watches movies with them and surprisingly they actually sit on his lap and watch the movie. I'm kind of glad that we don't have boys because then Dallon has to include the girls.
