Makin' a cake

When ever I cook, my kids like to watch and so they insist on sitting on the counter while I prepare the food. Well, sometimes there are benefits to what I am making. I was making a chocolate cake and the kids got the spoons afterwards. I thought it was a cute picture of them. In case any of you may be worried, they know that they must not touch the knives in the background, otherwise they are not allowed to sit on my counter. And I never leave them unattended.

Oh, and Kenzie is wearing her witch dress up clothes.

I agree with the knife issue! A bit scarry. My kids are always climbing up on counters by themselves, so there's no trust going on in our home!
My kids always want to lick the spoons. Just like when we were kids.

Gross.. I never let them lick the spoons cause I think its yucky. I know, I know but I want to gag thinking of it. I dont eat any batter thats not cooked...

I remmeber being a kid, eyeing that batter with my mouth watering as my mother a stired that wonderous goo. I loved licking the bowl and spoon as a kid! It's a memory all kids should have.

I almost always bake with my kids, or at least one of them and they get to lick the leftover delights. It's tradition. It's a memory in the making. :)

Cute pictures, Courtney!

I didn't even notice the knives until you said something. Good thing that they know never to touch them.

So enough about the knives right! I didn't notice them at first but then I thought what good kids, mine would be sword fighting! Who is the sexy chick on the bike with the LONG BEAUTIFUL HAIR, I love it! And I never knew you could paint so awesome. Did you graduate from the Hot Chicks Club to the Booty Licious Babes? Your kids are gorgeous, and we miss you but everyone looks great!
