After going to the Second Chance Prom last year, Jared and I decided that we had to make it an annual thing. So once the decision was made, we made sure to get as many of our friends to go as we possibly could. Sadly, a bunch weren't able to come, but those that have gone once, always come back for more. Once we got our group finalized, we planned on going to the Thai House but once we got there it was closed, shut down, out of business. I was devastated, I had been so excited to go there that my mouth kept salivating. We put our heads together and decided upon O'Callahans. Once everyone got there, we made our greetings...
Dusty, apparently, was really happy to see Doug and gave him a big manly hug.
Jared, not wanting to be left out, jumped in for a squeeze.
Then the men admired Dusty's....um....outfit.
Then the studs showed off their outfits for us ladies to admire.
Not wanting to be left out, we ladies showed off our outfits too.
Then we sat down for a nice meal.
Doug and Sarah, Emily and James, Me and Jared, Megann and Dusty.
(We were the only ones in the restaurant.)
Of course we had to do couples pictures. It just wouldn't be right not to have them since we don't get all dolled like this every day.
James scored this zuit suit in San Diego for $30.00 so Emily made a flapper dress to go with it.
Megann found this pretty purple dress but it had a slit up to the middle of her thigh. Being flashy, she wanted to leave the dress how it was but I managed to talk her into sewing it up to at least her knee. (Dusty was highly disappointed!) But he covered his disappointment well by posing like this.
Can you feel the heat between Doug and Sarah? She, like me, had to stand on the upper step to be tall enough to pose for the picture.
I'll post more pictures on the actual dance on a different post because I worry that this one might be too long.
However, our waitress asked us if we were going to chaperon some prom somewhere but we said, "No we were just going to the second chance prom." She said, "oh well if you want to come back here later, we get a pretty roaring crowd around 10:00, but they're a younger group."
(I'm not sure but I think she was calling us old...like we might not fit into the young group that comes in. Jared and I were saying that that is the first time that we've been classified as old.)

I wish we could have gone! Last year was probably our only go at it for a while, since next year Trev will be in California at boot camp and for 4 years after that we'll be who-knows-where. Can't believe I missed it!

Haha, I was so curious about your height next to Jared wondering how high those heels had to have been. Thanks for answering that one later in the post. I'm glad you all had fun.
You were called old? Well, get used to it. Jerry was offered the Sr. discount when he was 35. He took it.
