Easter and Family Home Evening

We had a really nice relaxing Easter at home. We were going to get together with family but everybody seemed to have plans, so we just had our own nice family dinner. But, that morning Jordyn greeted us by throwing up. Well, I stayed home with Jordyn while Jared took the other kids to church. He even taught my gospel doctrine class for me which was really nice of him.

However, our kids still found the Easter baskets the Easter bunny left behind. Jordyn got a basketball...fitting don't you think?

Mackenzie and Alexis got candy and coloring books in their baskets, while Eli got candy and a green kick ball.

Monday night family home evening was really good. We had a lesson on being kind to people even when they are not being kind to you. Then, we played this fun game where you pick a card that says hold your hand to your partner's knee, or head to shoulder. You have to hold the card in between the objects and if you drop the card you are out, but you get more and more so you end up in funny positions.
