2nd Chance Prom

Every year, Idaho Falls does a 2nd Chance Prom. People of all ages come to this dance. It is free, it is fun, it is fabulous! Jared and I had so much fun that we are going to make this a yearly date. (But it better not be the only date in the year!)

We ended up going with Jared's brothers Dusty and Byron, and with our college friends James and Emily, and Doug and Sarah. I managed to get my newly married sister, Nancy, and her hubby Trevor to leave to house and come dancing too.

We went out to a Thai Restaurant and had some really good food. Each of the plates were so big that we all just put the platters in the middle of the table and tried the cuisine from every one's plates. My favorite was Jemayla's yellow curry. I would eat there again!

Jared and I and Megann and Dusty got there "on time" and so we took a shot at the four of us waiting for the other's who were LATE.

After dinner, we headed over to the dance. There was a half time show with the Hillcrest High School ballroom dance team and so we took some snap shots of us on the side.

I really don't know why Doug is trying to tongue Jared's ear, but hey, to each his own.

We were all dancing together and then Jared was going to take a picture and so Trevor and Nancy posed together which makes me look like I tried to get in on their picture. I assure you, that was not the case. We were all together!

Sarah said that she just has to laugh when she sees Nan and Trevor because they are so quiet compared to the rest of us Webers who are loud and outgoing. They were very content to just sit and listen to all of our crazy stories when we stopped to have refreshments.

They had professionals there to take pictures but is was a steep price, so we found a brick wall, accented nicely with a fire alarm, and took some of our own pictures.

Here is Nancy and Trevor after their couples picture. We were teasing them because Trevor picked up Nancy but his hand was right on her bosom and so we all were teasing that just because you are married now and allowed to grope each other, it is still better left to the privacy of your own home. They were embarrassed and I am sure Nancy was trying not to pee her pants.
