Sledding Mania

I have to admit that I have not really ever liked sledding! I always get hurt in one way or another and it usually involves my tailbone which takes forever to heal. The last time I sledded was about 9 years ago. I know! That is a long time! So, this time I decided to go with Jared when he took the kids sledding. And you know what, it was fantastic! I had so much fun. Not only was the sledding fun but seeing the glee in my kid's faces was great as well!
In this picture, we all piled onto two of the round sleds and linked arms and went down together. It was a blast!
Mack before she went down and got hurt.
The end of the world for Mack. She biffed it pretty good! Well, you can't blame her, Jared ran over her with his sled. Eli praying over his sled.

Then Lexie got ran over by daddy.
(bad dad)

Whoops!

Daddy made the girls feel better and then we took a ride down together.

It was fun!

The girls and I would go down together on the saucers.

Lex dragging her sled up the hill.

It wasn't a huge hill but it sure did the trick.

Jared took turns with each of the kids. I think Jared and Lexie were going to race Mack and Eli down the hill.

Gotta love Eli's snotty nose

Eli's first time sledding. Last year when Jared would take the girls, Eli and I would stay home and watch a movie or drink hot chocolate.
This year he went and giggled the whole time down.

I think I will do that again...
And Jordyn slept soundly in her warm carseat all snuggled in her blankets and snowsuit.

What happened to "Phillip"? Is that no longer an option?

I agree with the sledding and staying home.
Its fun, but cold and the older I get the more often I get hurt.
It looks like the kids had a blast even with all the injuries!

You guys look happy, and having a ball! Kids are so resilient.

I am not a sledder either.
I loved it as a kid, though!

The last time I went sledding was with the Lanegans in Flagstaff... like 4 years ago. I think I should go with my kids here sometime. But.... it's so cold!
I think I will wait until Andelin is ready to go sledding. Yeah.
It will buy me some time. lol

Fact: The "official" first kiss Warren gave me, was on a sleeding date down Walden's hill.
He gave me a peck in the cheek as he pushed me down the hill.
I was in heaven, and was grinning from ear to ear all the way down. Oh, sweet memories.
