New Years Eve Party

We decide to have a kids party this year so we invited Jared's brother's kids over for the night.
Jared playing with Jordyn Benji smiling while I put together his party hat
Mackenzie and Joey "Playing house". Joe was the dad and Kenzie was the mom.

We made a fort out of our couches and table. It was pretty sweet!
Joey, Kenzie, and Eli getting ready to watch the movie.

We had all sorts of good snacks. We had pizza rolls, taquitoes, chips, dips, soda, cheese, crackers.
And...pickles. Jordyn had her first pickle and very much enjoyed it!

A better view of our fort.
All the kids getting ready for "How to Train your Dragon"

All the kids in their party hats that they made.
In the back you can see the computer. We turned all the clocks ahead and watched the ball drop live in New York. The kids thought that they had really stayed up till midnight. It was fun.
The next morning, when Des came to pick up her boys, Joey said to her, "Mom, we got to stay up till Midnight, it was so cool!"

We had to ring in the new year with some bubbly!
Martinellies is the best!

We bought these little confetti poppers for all the kids but they were hard to pop so Jared had to help pull the little stings. Most of them ended up being duds but some of them worked out.

And, of course, a nice smooch to start the new year off right!

May this year bring you all health and happiness! You don't need wealth because you already have it if you just look around! This life is a time to have joy so go have some why don't you because I sure am enjoying my life!!!!
