The first of many 29th birthdays!

Jared took me out for Mexican food and then we went bowling afterwards. I love being able to go out with Jared. I love our dates. FYI: I have always beat Jared at bowling, even when I am pregnant, I beat him, but he beat me by 5 points in our first game. In our second game I beat him but it was close. I am kind of sad that my days of winning could be behind me, but I won't give up, I'll bring it every time!Sharon had tickets to see Ryan Shupe and the Rubber Bands, and fortunately I got to go with her...sorry Darick that you got sick, but I really enjoyed myself!

We had fun visiting with Katie, the bouncer, who was so good at her job that she wouldn't even let the actual band members enter in with out her supervisor vouching that they really were the band. It was actually really funny to watch the whole thing go down. They started walking in and she quickly stopped them, saying that they needed to get their tickets up stairs before she could let them in. Ryan and his drummer used the classic line, "We're with the band." That didn't fly with Katie. Ryan said, "No really, we're in the band! Katie and the other bouncer had to call over their radio's to their supervisor thinking that he would have to get rid of these guys, only to find out that they really were the real deal. During the the concert, Ryan dedicated a song to Katie the bouncer who is really good at her job! He commended her for her diligence! Funny!
The concert was at BUY-Idaho and so we visited with Nancy for a little bit too. Plus, Nan watched Sharon's little boy, Max, while we were at the concert.

Ryan Shupe and the Rubber Bands are a really fun group to go watch. If you every have a chance to see them, you should go!

I'm 29 and so I have one year to get in smoking hot shape and become thirty, flirty, and thriving!
