What Have We Been Up To?

I assume, probably because I am vain, that people have been wondering what we have been up to since it has been almost a month since my last post, so, I'll tell you.

A week ago, Jared and I went with my sister and her hubby, Sharon and Darick, to go watch the Bar J Wranglers. They are a comedy country singers group. It was a lot of fun. We were fed BBQ beef sandwiches and beans and apple sauce and cookies. Our Family had been sick all week and so it was nice to get out of the house and go to this concert.
Of course you can always catch the girls in some sort of get up. Alexis loves to wear wigs and so here is one where she is sporting a nice big black wig given to us from a very elderly lady in our ward who sports the black wig often. Her hair has thinned out so much that I think she feels much more comfortable covering her head than going El Natural. Anyways, it may sound weird that my daughter is wearing one of her wigs but we have fun with it.
The back view.

Kenzie and the Viking hat, we got it at a BYU-I basketball game I think.

We also celebrated Mackenzie and Alexis' birthdays. We let the girls choose their meals for the day. Kenzie chose to have crapes for her special breakfast, bean dip and chips for lunch, and taco's for dinner, with doughnuts stacked up to make a doughnut cake.
Alexis chose crapes also for breakfast, hot dogs for lunch, and taco's for dinner. She wanted a chocolate princess cake.

This is one of the presents that Alexis got, a necklace making kit. Here is one she made. This is a special present she got from Aunt Heidi and she loves it. Mackenzie got a big princess coloring and painting book that both the girls love to draw in. Thanks Heidi!

The kids love to play with a piggy bank I have on my desk so Jared and I thought we would get them their own. We found these cute farm animal piggy banks at a local craft store. You can paint these and draw on them to make them more your own. Some day, I will do that with the kids and then you can see the final products.

Here is Alexis putting in the special money we get from Grandma and Grandpa Weber every birthday. Nice crisp dollar bills to save for those special little trinkets the girls want to buy.

The girls have also been introduced to the world of Littlest Pet Shops at my sister Kim's house. So, we got the girls each a cute set to have of their own.

The girls love it when they get birthday calls. Here is Alexis talking to Grandma Betty.

Oh, and I think the main reason why I haven't posted for a while is because we have sold our house and are trying to get everything together for our move to Shelley. We are really excited and when we find out or know more about where we are living, whether it's a new house or an apartment for a while, I will let you know.
