For the Mamasita!

I was chatting with my sister, Rebekah, on the phone yesterday when she informed me that my mom always asks what I am up to. I was surprised by this because I thought my mom knew what I was up to but she doesn't, so this is all info for my mom to use in order to feel completely updated.

1. I am positive she knows we sold our house but I am writing it anyways.

2. We put an offer in on a house but they didn't accept it. We were bummed but more relieved. It would have been a great house for us but it was at the top top top of our price range and so a little uncomfortable as well. There aren't very many choices in Shelley right now that we like. Well, there is none! So, we are going to wait until spring in the hopes that more homes will come on the market.

3. We had a really really hard time finding an apartment. Most of the apartments in Shelley are subsidized housing so we can't get in to those. All the ones that aren't, are full. So, we had to scramble. We were getting really nervous because a week ago, we still didn't have a place to move to. We needed a place that wasn't expensive and would let us go month to month instead of making us sign a six month lease. We don't want to have to pay for months we are not living there if we find a house in a month or two. My sister Shaina has had many problems with having to pay two leases, I learned from her to try and find a place that will go monthly.
Plus, the whole point of selling our house was to move to Shelley. We could have found a place here in Idaho Falls but I wanted to be in Shelley. We don't know if we will be in an apartment for 2 months or 2 years, so it had to be in Shelley.

4. We finally found a place. small but good. It is right across the street from Jared's school. We didn't think of them because we thought they were still under construction. We say a "for rent" sign and called immediately. The Landlords seem so nice and accommodating. I asked if we could go month to month and he immediately replied that that would be fine, no penalties, no extra money needed. It is a two bedroom apartment, which means we will be tight for a while but we will still be comfortable. It has a very open feel to it and a yard in the back. We are happy.

5. Our official moving day is March 7. We have good friends and our families that live near by coming to help. All next week, Jared and I will move little things in but next Saturday is our big day. We will spend the rest of our time cleaning up and making this house perfect for its new owners.

6. March 9 is the day we sign our house away and make a pretty profit to put into our next home. The home we expect to spend forever in if we choose. A place where we can still grow into, cause, yes, more children are coming some day. A place where we will continue to live our happily ever after.

Mom, you know it all now! Love you!

I'm glad you posted this- becasue I don't know what's going on with your family either!

I'm so glad you found a temp. place to live. That's got to be so frustrating to not find a place. Wow.

Good luck with your move and getting into your home in Shelley.
