We just got home from church and I am trying to give the kids something to hold them over until I fix them something to eat. I gave Kenzie and Alexis yogurt but I only had peach and strawberry/banana left. Alexis called for the pink kind so Kenzie got the Peach. She wasn't happy about that. Alexis slowly ate hers and Kenzie scarfed hers down.
Now, if you have ever seen the movie Underdog then you will better understand this story. Kenzie, who was finished with her food, decides to start acting like a dog. She does this often and Alexis acts like her owner. Well, suddenly, Kenzie starts chanting, "give the dog your food, give the dog your food, give the dog your food." She does it in a very monotone way, while staring at the food with this crazed look on her face. Alexis, succumbing to the chant, slides over her barely touched yogurt and now Kenzie is happily enjoying the pink yogurt.
Oh well, the sandwiches were ready anyways.
