Our community has a great story time leader at our local library. She comes up with great themes and inventive activities for each of the kids to do. Today's theme was Toy Story. Each of the kids got to come in and pick either a hat or a handkerchief.
Jordyn wanted the hat.
Eli wanted the handkerchief.
They got to make English muffin pizza's from Pizza Planet.
They got to put together the Mrs. Potato heads and then scramble them back up.
Eli was taking this one apart to put together in a weird funny way. He's hanging with his pal Brielle.
There was also horse raises with Woody and free books and a place to unscrew vcr's and lots of other things but I got a call in the middle of it from our dentist asking if we were on our way. I didn't forget about their appointments, I just thought they were at 3:00 instead of 11:00 and so we had to cut short our fun. But is was a great time and my kids thoroughly love going to Story Time. My older girls come home and complain about how much fun everyone has while they are at school.
