Jordyn learns to ride a bike

All throughout the summer Jordyn practiced riding her tricycle. And all throughout the summer Jared would slowly lift the training wheels more and more off of the ground. One day he saw that she was balancing just perfectly on her bike without using the training wheels. So he decided to take them off. It only took her one time with him helping from behind and pushing her for her to ride without any help at all on her new bike. she now rides around the cul-de-sac with out any help whatsoever. MY little girl is growing up so much.

Aunt Mel

Melissa,  Jamie's wife,  was really sweet and painted jordyn's nails.  She had been asking all weekend and so Mel sat down and gave her the works.  Thanks for making her day aunt Mel!

Stamped!

I don't know what it is about stamping your skin but my kids do it all the time.  If they get a stamp in their Halloween baskets or in their easter eggs or as a prize from their teacher, they always stamp their forhead. 

We'll I thought that was the extent of it but as I was helping Jordyn get ready for school today I discovered that it was all over her body as well.  As you can see she stamped her belly multiple times and then it goes all the way down her legs and onto her toes.  So I put tights on her and scrubbed the stamp off of her forhead (she said that hurt a lot) and now no one will be the wiser.  My silly little girl.  I love her!

Neighborhood Fun

Jared and I really wanted to live in a safe neighborhood where or kids could ride their bikes freely and safely, where other kids were playing outside often. We found a beautiful home in a culdisac. Now we get little hands knocking at our door to see if our kids can play. I love it!

I went to check on the kids and found them sliding down a hill in a cardboard box. Again, I love living in a neighborhood!!

Lately Jordyn has been in this phase where she colors on herself. It doesn't matter that she gets in trouble for it every time, she still does it. Very naughty! I don't know what to do but just wait this phase out.
