We made scripture cookies for Family Home Evening. We looked up ingredients in the scriptures and then created our own cookies from it. My favorite, and pretty much the only ones I like are chocolate chip mint cookies. We always make a quadruple batch so that we can freeze a bunch of dough for later use.
Jared and the kids formed the cookie balls. It is funny because Jared showed Mackenzie, Alexis, and Eli how to form the balls and then gently squish them flat. The girls could do it but Eli's formed cookies were not so symmetrical, as you will see in the next photo.
The Easter bunny also brought kites for the kids. They thoroughly enjoyed flying them once they finally got them in the air.
Jared managed to get Eli's Buz Lightyear kite up easily enough but it took many many many attempts to get the girls' Ariel kites up in the air. I told Jared the Buz is meant to fly and Ariel is meant to swim.

That is so funny about eli's cookies. It also must be nice to be able to go in your back yard to fly your kites. Your kids are getting so big!!!
That is really cute. Now I want to get kites for my girls.
How fun!! We haven't flown kites this year yet but it's time that we do. It looks like you guys had fun. Good luck with the new baby. I would guess but I really have no ideas.
